At Doodlebags our fabrics are exclusively from secondhand sources, and this approach to reusing and recycling extends to all the fixings, trimmings, and threads used in the creation of our products; packaging and marketing materials are also from recycled origins.

I loathe society's preference for throw-away purchases, and have a passion for finding alternative uses for items and resources that would normally be discarded.

This mindset comes from having grown up in a family where hand-me-downs were the norm, eating produce from dad's allotment and mum making meals from scratch was standard, and shopping at jumble sales and was a regular adventure. "Reuse, repair, recycle" was, and still is a way of life as opposed to a trend to follow, and it was logical, therefore, that Doodlebags adopt the same ethos as its business model.
